Job Role / Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Security Officer, Global, you will be responsible to work with Regional Security Managers on security matters and support in the implementation of AKU Global Security Program. You would also be responsible to:
coordinate with Regional Security Managers for country situation report and prepare Monthly Regional Security Situation Report for the leadership
on behalf of CSO, Global, coordinate with regional security managers to review security environment of the respective countries and based on situation and policy directive, issue security clearances to AKU travelers for High Risk Countries
maintain database for all security clearance applications for travel/visit to High Risk Countries
assist CSO in Country Risk Assessment and prepare and periodically update AKU Travel Advisories for South Asia, East Africa and United Kingdom
assist CSO AKU Global in the preparation of Strategic and Regional Goals. Monitor and update the Regional Goals on quarterly basis
prepare presentations, reports and other strategic documents to be presented to AKU leadership and other forums
act as Departmental Budget Officer and monitor operating and capital budgets of the department; periodically review BVR to analyze trends of operating expenditure affecting budget needs/ allocations and update department leadership.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
Graduate from a recognized university (Master’s preferred)
Minimum five (05) years of relevant experience
Excellent organizational skills & discretion with confidential information
Organized and focused individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Computer proficiency, especially in MS Office.
